Description
• KDL is a duct diffuser for supply air in most types of premises with high comfort requirements.
• The diffuser is suitable for VAV systems.
• KDL is supplied with a maximum recommended assembled diffuser length of 6 m for duct dimensions Ø160 and 8 m for other sizes.
Inblåsning
KDL erbjuder inblåsning enligt två principer:
• Koncentrerad inblåsning innebär att luftstrålarna är samlade vilket möjliggör längre kastlängder. Koncentrerad inblåsning rekommenderas även vid låg takhöjd.
• Diffuserad inblåsning innebär att luftstrålarna är separerade från varandra. Härigenom medejekteras rumsluften i varje luftstråle och kastlängden blir kortare.

• Specifications depend on the total length of the diffuser and is generated via our product configurator. Please use the specification table in the product sheet when ordering.

Dispersion alternatives
• The product is supplied in a number of variants for optimal performance.
• Configurable parameters affecting dispersion:
– Distribution type, 1-way alt. 2-way.
– Dispersion, concentrated or diffused.
– Area code, nozzle type hole patterns that secure the required air volumes, designated A1-A4.
• The number of area codes for each product size varies depending on the current product dimensions, distribution and dispersion type. Please see the respective diagram for each product dimension in the KDL product sheet.
• The relevant area code is selected based on the required air flow in relation to the throw length and sound generation levels.
Accessories
• Coupling nipple in standard white colour.
• End cap in standard white colour.
• Suspension bracket in standard white colour.
• Blind parts in standard white colour (non-active connector for extension of the connector).
• Accessories can also be ordered separately.
• KDL: Powder-coated galvanised steel sheet in white RAL standard colour.
Delivery form
• The product is delivered in parts based on the total length ordered and comes complete with accessories for assembly.
Mounting
• The diffuser is connected to a circular duct and the lengths are joined together with joint nipples.
• The duct is suspended with fastening straps and finished with an end cap that also functions as a cleaning hatch.
• During installation, a straight section of of duct must be maintained, corresponding to ≥3 x the duct diameter before the active duct length for the product to function as expected, e.g. after a bend or T-piece.
